Ningyocho Imahan was established in 1895 as a beef hot pot restaurant. It is now renowned worldwide as a representative of Japanese Sukiyaki Cuisine. In 1956, Ningyocho Imahan became a restaurant specializing in Sukiyaki in Nihon-bashi, Ningyo-Cho.

At Imahan, top beef specialists carefully source only the highest quality beef. These specialists make their selection based on the blood line of the cattle, handling and feeding techniques used, and most importantly, how passionate the breeders are about their craft. Japanese beef is presented in different cuisine variations such as sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, and steak (teppanyaki, yakiniku). Established in 1895, Ningyocho Imahan serves Sukiyaki, Shabushabu and Steak cuisine that is centered around top quality Kuroge Wagyu beef.
The restaurant currently has branches in Tokyo’s Ningyo-cho (Honten), Ginza, Ueno Hirokoji, Yurakucho, Nihonbashi, Shinjuku Ikebukuro, and Akasaka Kioicho.
